operated.
Oakwood Auto Wash provides the
foremost in vehicle washing and
detailing. For your every need from a
basic exterior wash to complete detailing

Oakwood Auto Wash originally opened
as Tapp's Car Wash in 1949, owned by
Calvin Tapp. At that time the building
was smaller, comprising what is now
the end half of the tunnel, cashier and
detailing area. In 1958 the building was
expanded to its current size. In 1974
David Krueger purchased the car wash
and changed the name to Oakwood
Auto Wash and Detailing. Dave would
become one of the leaders in the car
wash industry. In 1998 Dave hired Tim
Watts as General Manager of Oakwood
Auto Wash. In 1999 Tim purchased
Oakwood Auto Wash.
Oakwood Auto Wash appreciates our
loyal customers. Many of which have
been coming to the car wash since the
1950's and '60's. We have customers
who regularly come from as far away as
Brookville, Tipp City, Xenia and
Springboro.
60 continual years of offering the best
customer service and excellence in
vehicle washing continues to this day.
While other car washes abandon the
"Full Service" car wash in place of a
lesser service "express wash," (which
costs as much as our labor intensive
washes) we continue the same Full
Service experience and hand dried
Exterior washes that we have for
decades.
